Professional Support Project (Cordoba)

Project Summary

In this program in Argentina you will gain valuable life skills and also career experience. Volunteers will be working side by side with local government and NGOs' to help build better infrastructure. Volunteers will be using their knowledge of communications, management, administration, human resources, public relations, events, promotions, sports, art, culture, tourism, and use such information to better the local structure. Volunteers will be vessels of support for the local organizations. The idea is that this project will allow many to work together to provide the best outcome for all.

Skills/Qualifications Needed

Participants must be at least 18 and have insurance to cover their accident, liability and health. Volunteers with basic or intermediate knowledge of Spanish will be able to volunteer effectively. If do not have any knowledge of Spanish, please consider joining our Spanish program while volunteering in Cordoba. Participants must follow all the rules and regulations of the organization they work for. You must also be self-motivated, resourceful, and willing to join in a wide range of activities. You must also have skills you can use to make your project successful.

Volunteer's Responsibilities

Volunteers will practice a large scope of contribution. In general, work includes: prepare recreational activities, assist the staff on routine tasks, propose new ideas to improve the day to day work at the organization, promotion and advertising and search for financing resources.

Project Location

The project is located in Cordoba, which has a cultural rich history and colonial charm. Cordoba has been home for a great many writers, artists, and musicians. The streets and character of the city offer much stimulation and are quite exciting to experience. The urban environment offers a plentitude for volunteers to experience, and there are also nearby nature opportunities in the Andes and Pampas.
