HIV/AIDS Project in Ghana

Ghana is still being ravaged by HIV/AIDS, with hundreds of families becoming devastated each year as they lose their bread winner. RCDP’s High school travel programs abroad Ghana has teamed up with local initiatives to provide care to the victims and spread awareness.

Volunteers will be engaged in training and educational activities such as creating awareness about preventive measures against HIV /AIDS. During the program the volunteers will also look after HIV/AIDS victims as well as counsel and educate in major hospitals and communities.

Turtle conservation in Mexico

Do you want to work with animals while also experiencing one of the most gorgeous places on earth!?

The sea turtle population in Mexico is in peril. RCDP offer Student travel programs for high school students Mexico to help in preserving turtles habitat, educating others, and working directly with locals.

You, as a volunteer, will work on the beach where you will scan the area for an appropriate habitat, while helping with the capture and release the animals. You may also be require dto radio tag and study the turtles movements. Daytime work includes cleaning nests, saving hatchlings and preventing contamination of the area.

You may also be involved in environmental education.

Orphanage construction project in Nepal

RCDP offer a life changing a 21 day Travel abroad programs for high school students Nepal.

Due to war and poverty, many children in Neal have become orphaned. Currently, at the orphanage, there is not enough space for the children to live, study or play. Therefore, this construction project will provide that space that is so require for these kids to blossom.

Each month, RCDP organise a small group of volunteers and hire local skilled laborers to lead the project. Volunteers will be assisting local people. The construction project will be physical and will include carrying sand, bricks and other jobs as required.

Disabled children project in Argentina

This is one of RCDP’s most popular Travel abroad programs for high school students Argentina. In this project, volunteers will be working with disabled youth to provide support, education, care and recreation. Volunteers will be part of a team that consists of psychiatrists, physical education trainers and educational psychologists. Volunteers and professionals build a positive environment for the youth to learn, grow and have best of all - have fun!

Volunteers will be involved in and spending time with the disabled children. You will organize various activities and will also be required to assist the local staff in workshops and classes.

Teaching Project in Brazil

RCDP’s High school students travel abroad programs Brazil as helping underprivileged Brazilians understand and speak English to give them a better chance to succeed. Unfortunately, English speaking schools can be expensive, limiting those who can attend.

Volunteers will provide short term intensive English classes to prepare Brazilians for the employment market and exams.

Note: Project unavailable from January to March as schools in Brazil as schools will be closed for holidays.

As a volunteer teaching English in Brazil, you will be teaching in a one-on-one environment.
Daily activities may include:

• Teaching basic English to the children
• Teaching other subjects such as math or science
• Playing with the children
• Organizing extracurricular activities such as music, dancing, sports, art, games, etc.
• Teaching life skills such as painting, sewing, cooking, etc
• Working with local teachers on curriculum development
• Assisting school administrations with daily tasks
• Helping with basic maintenance of schools
• Aiding local school staff in any way possible

Work in Orphanage in Kenya

Volunteer to give orphaned children secure and healthy lives. RCDP has implemented Student travel programs for high school students Kenya to help orphanages feed, house and send local children to school for a good education.

Your work can include:

• Teach them English, Mathematics and other subjects

Women Empowerment Project in India

Many women in India face discrimination daily. Volunteers will empower women by becoming their friend and teacher through RCDP Student travel programs for high school students. The project also offers a unique chance to observe the process of how handmade paper bags are made.
